Team Leader for our Coating Department

Do you have experience in powder coating and leading personnel? Are you driven by improvement work and quality? We are now looking for a responsible and meticulous Team Leader for our coating department.

About the position

As a Team Leader with us, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the coating department. You will actively participate in the operational work and ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Planning of colors and tasks is done in consultation with the Production Manager, and you will become a key person in our continuous improvement work.

Our coating facility is of conveyor type, and we continuously work to optimize the hanging of goods. Working hours are mainly during the day, but two shifts may occur.

Your responsibilities and tasks

• Daily planning and control of the coating process
• Ensure high quality of the final products
• Monitoring work orders and internal logistics for the coating department
• Training and instructions for new and temporary staff
• Competence development and job rotation within the team
• Contact and booking of JRAB as well as handling of hazardous waste
• Statistical follow-up (powder consumption, color changes, etc.)
• Collaboration with purchasing for material needs
• Lead by example and ensure order and cleanliness in the department

Who are you?

• Experience in powder coating, preferably in a leadership role
• Meticulous and quality-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility
• Driven and change-oriented – you see improvement opportunities and take action
• Flexible and solution-oriented, with good collaboration skills
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
